Day +70 New month-new room

Ok, let’s see where do I start? We’ve been doing a lot of moving around today. We started out with an ultrasound around 12:30. It’s been almost a week since they found the hematoma and they wanted to take another look to see if it has changed sizes. It does appear to be smaller, and we are very thankful for that. But…
Yes, there’s a but…his blood pressure has been seriously high all day. They began treating it with medications this morning and didn’t see much change. Their thought was then, maybe the hematoma is pushing against the renal aorta or renal vessel. To find out if this was the case we were sent downstairs for an MRI. He was sedated for this and of course did great!! The results from this test showed no issues with the hematoma pushing up against the aorta or vessels. So why all of a sudden did his blood pressure spike up? Great question, one that his doctors are trying to figure out. In the mean time we have been moved from the BMT unit to the PICU. Creed’s doctor felt that he needed to be closely monitored. Our new home is room 4112…temporarily. I’m hoping and praying that this problem will be figured out quickly and we can go back where we belong!! Never thought I’d say that. For now though, our prayer requests is for the doctors to figure out what’s causing his high blood pressure and for the hematoma to continue shrinking. Hoping tomorrow brings good news!!

Love to all!
