Update from Creeds room

Posted: December 27, 2010 by Kat in Uncategorized

Creed is having a great day! Steph will post a long update
tonight with all the details since Christmas. In the meantime,
here’s my eyewitness report: Creed is amazing! He is in the ICU
with a tube in his throat but he has no complaints. All he really
wants is water. He’s able to nod and shake his head. He can even
use the urinal! The doctors and nurses are so impressed with him.
His sweet eyes are so telling and he and his mommy have their own
language. It’s amazing to see them interact. He continues to
receive such wonderful cards, letters and packages. He even opens
his own presents! All while on the ventilator! It is so
heartwarming to see his big eyes as he listens to the well wishes
being read to him. Prayers are being answered. Thank you!

How wonderful !!!! Creed is an inspiration to all, especially my grandaughter Allisyn Rainbolt whom is also spending the season in the hospital. I am blessed to know Creed from afar, his courage is inspiring, his determination is unconquerable by the health issues which have assailed his little body. The Rainbolt/klave family loves you Creed

I met your precious little man several weeks ago while volunteering at CHOA. I think his grandmother might have been with him that day? I just remember what a little charmer he was! We were making paperdolls and he kept me hopping!!!! When the East Cobb HNR agents told me they were “adopting Creed”, I just hooped!! “OH YEAH, I know Creed”, I said!!!!! So the very next day at CHOA, I inquired about your fighter! The childlife specialist, of course, could not tell me anything, as its not even my business!!! My job, as a volunteer is just to love the patients and try to bring a smile to their sweet faces!!! SO, I was delighted tonight to see this link to Creed’s webpage to let me follow his progress. Just know that I am praying!!!! God loves your Creed even more than you do and He’s got him in His loving hands!!!!! I will check on you next Wednesday when I come to CHOA!!!
