Our Creeder

Posted: April 15, 2012 by Kat in Uncategorized

Our beloved Creed passed away this morning.

We know he has been made whole again in heaven and is no longer in pain. Your prayers are very much appreciated.

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

What a priviledge to have prayed for Creed and his whole family over the last couple of years. I am inspired, blessed and a better person for being introduced to you guys through our family (the Cochrans at Lighthouse). I have the assurance of God and His promises for Creed’s complete healing, but I will pray for his family who is left here for a bit longer without his daily light to shine upon you. The prayers will continue for you all until you are reunited with him some day. Try to remember to breathe a little and eat now and then. You are loved by so many, especially your Father in Heaven.

  59. I am so sorry for your loss. I have been following his life journey, and was very saddened for his mother and family today, when I read that he’d gone to be with Jesus. I have learned so much from his story: To be thankful I have two healthy children, and to show them and the rest of my family that I love them each chance I get, for we are never promised tomorrow. To Creed’s mother and family – please know you are in my thoughts, and I am praying for God to give you all the strength he can to help you cope with your tragic loss. I am sure he was welcomed to Heaven immediately, and is in the warm, loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ, right now.

    Creed,
i know this is a long long time over due. but as i am sitting on my bed(the night before your birthday)
i cant help but think about all the great times we had, at the beach, your house, my house, and at the hospital. meeting you at the beach two years ago was the best thing that ever happend to me. seeing you run arround in the sand and interract with all the people you just met, was so fun. as the years went on you had your ups and downs, but fought through all of them and kept touching people all over(some you never even met). as i said this note is long over due, the reason for this is because as life kept going after you passed away i had to try and keep up. Just like you i had my ups and downs, but lately i have had a hard time kepping up. things have happend that affected me and others around me. as i read through these blogs i notice that even when you were having a hard time all the pictures of you had huge smiles. and when i say huge i mean HUGE. you are always on my heart in and in my mind. you once told me that you were going to make it through all of the things that were going on and be better than you ever were. as i look back on that moment i can now say that even though it was not in the way that you intended it to be or that anyone wanted it to happen it did happen. i can now sing two song with a whole new veiw. any one who knew you could name those songs but just in case, they are Glory to God, and Like a lion. as i am sitting here right now i can truly say that God can turn the storms of our lifes into great things that can show people the way to him. I can also say that because of you i am a better son, brother, freind, and much more importantly a better man in Christ. once again I am sorry for the fact that this is long overdue but this is the first time that i think i can finally comprehend everything that is going on.

as i close this i would like to share with you a few things that i always loved to hear come from your mouth:
    you bet
    whack a booty
    oh come on
and even though i am a tech fan: Go Dawgs

Buddy i miss you more than you could ever imagine but as i sit here i can truly say that CREED did LOVE

    love your freind,
    Chase
